We are so grateful to everyone who made our race day a great success! We appreciate the runners, walkers, children, sponsors and volunteers who made the 2011 Pink Laundry 5K a fabulous event. Thank you! We hope to have details posted in a few days regarding the amount of money raised and number of participants. Stay tuned...
But for now, here are a few "housekeeping" tidbits:
-Looking for your race time? Please check out the complete list of race results at The KC Running Company's official website.
-Timing Chips: If you picked up a race packet (the white envelope at Gary Gribbles), please note that it had a small, square plactic chip inside. This was to be attached to your shoe at the race. If you did not return this chip at the race - please return it ASAP to any Gary Gribbles location. If it is not returned within one week (by October 17th) you will be charged.
-Those who won medals, but did not pick them up at the awards station: please email Vicki at foundation@stephanievest.com to claim your prize. Thanks!
-If you registered for the race, but did not pick up your packet and t-shirt - you have one week to claim your shirt. Shirts must be picked up by October 17th.
-For those who did not receive shirts (because their size was oversold) the reorder should arrive in two weeks. We will post information about how to pick up your shirt once the second order arrives. Thanks for your patience.
-There was a photographer working the race taking complimentary "party-pics." If he took your image, you can download it for free at his website: See KC Run it will then connect you to the free dowloads page.
-Many have asked, how do you get a gray "Live Beautiful" shirt that folks were wearing at the race? You may purchase them for $20 each. (Add $5 if you need them shipped out of town.) These are ladies "fitted tees" in sizes S-XL. To order, please email foundation@stephanievest.com
